2nd Harvest Empty Bowls Event

Holy Family's 5th Annual Hispanic Breakfast

Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons will be hosting its Fifth Annual Hispanic Breakfast on Sunday, May 16th. The goal for the Hispanic Breakfast is more then just good food, it is a cultural event. One third of the Family Center is designated as the Hispanic Cultural Area. Community members are encouraged to bring in items that represent their culture on Saturday May 15th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. These Items will be on public display during the breakfast, Sunday May 16th from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Items should be picked up after the event, Sunday before 5:00 PM. We look for anything Pictures, Newspaper Articles, Musical Instruments, Diplomas, Maps, Costumes, Apparel, Jewelry, etc. The goal is to create a museum type environment for attendees to explore other countries and heritages.

They would really like to have a real live in-person Hispanic artist: painter, sculptor, etc. Preferably someone who could bring several pieces to display, for sale and maybe a work in-process, so that people could watch them work and ask questions. If you or someone you know is interested, please e-mail the Hispanic League at hispanic.league@yahoo.com
